The new "firearm" by Black Aces Tactical has all the characteristics of a short shotgun, without the name. It shoots 2 3/4" shotgun shells, uses a pump for cycling, and even leaves a big hole in whatever it shoots. But the ATF's own wording was used to design a firearms that cannot be called a shotgun, an SBS, an SBR, a pistol, an AOW,...

the ATF's twisted "logic and reasoning" turned on itself ... I want one! ;)

That is another one of those badass toys I would love to have, but would never justify purchasing. Mossberg has one that is 14" barrel with a knob for a pistol grip that runs about $600. Not something a bad guy would want to see in your hand.

edit: the Mossy does not have a detachable mag, just tube fed.

Considering that I'm pretty much going all out on a long range AR build and it's only $100 more, I'd say that shotgun is stupidly overpriced. Your paying for the cool factor, not the gun. There's probably not more than $300 worth of material and work in that shotgun.

Can anyone identify the receiver? I doubt these guys are manufacturing their own, but maybe I am wrong.
